We’re Alyson and Charles, two animal lovers who founded Sven & Toffee in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Life with our rabbits inspired the brand and continues to shape how it grows.
Our goal is to build a brand you can count on to care for your small pets, with the same care we give our own.
Sven & Toffee grew out of a desire to give small pets better options. Too few products met our expectations, so we decided to create well-designed products we feel good about giving to our own pets.
Each product’s purpose and composition receive careful attention throughout development. Experts in the field help us make choices that meet the needs of the animals our products are made for.
The name Sven & Toffee is a tribute to Toffee, our sweet little Holland Lop, who sadly left us too soon. He was inseparable from Sven, his lifelong companion, who is still with us today, healthy and happy.
Sven now shares his life with Kiwi, a gentle and curious doe who completes our fluffy little family. This project is our way of keeping Toffee’s memory alive, while continuing to cherish and pamper Sven, Kiwi, and every small pet we meet.
Tiny Netherland dwarf rabbit with a big personality
Sven is the heart and soul of our story. Don’t be fooled by his innocent looks, behind those round eyes and chubby cheeks is a bunny with a strong character. He joined our family in February 2022, and ever since, he’s been inspiring everything we do.
From testing new products to keeping us on our toes with his playful antics, Sven reminds us daily why we’re passionate about creating the very best for pets like him.
Fluffy Holland Lop With an insatiable appetite
We adopted Toffee in 2024 from the SPA de l’Estrie. With his floppy ears and round, squishy frame, he was impossible not to love. Curious by nature but mostly driven by snacks, Toffee always acted like one treat was never enough.
Though our time with him was short, his goofy, food-loving spirit left a lasting impression. We honor him by making products that bring every pet the same joy he brought to us.
Curious explorer with a soft grey coat
We adopted Kiwi in early 2025 from Le Jardin des Animaux, where she had been waiting for a new home after being abandoned a year earlier. A mix between a Netherland Dwarf and a larger breed, she won us over instantly with her sleek, uniform gray coat and her curious spirit.
She loves to explore, climb, and keep an eye on everything around her. Today, she’s Sven’s beloved partner and watching the two of them together reminds us daily how much joy rabbits bring when they’re truly loved.
